It was a good conference.  National Commander was there.  Wing Commander and National Commander both have a great sense of humor and made the day go by quickly.  Banquet was unusually good.  Location was nice, but out of the way for the Northern half of the State.  Albany had flooding at the time and the riverwalk was submerged.  Cadets did a great job with Honor Guard, etc.  The conference was well attended.  Due to the location, I didn't think they would have as many as they did.  Hotel was nice.  Had a congressman/member talk at the Banquet.  He talked about patriotism and volunteerism.  Fantastic speech by both him and the MC, an active duty Army aviator that is also a member.  Somehow my squadron was overlooked and we didn't receive any awards..  I know that doesn't seem possible, but..

GAWG Conference was quite good this year.  I'm going to miss it when I move up north soon.
