The time online is mostly due to my practice of leaving a computer on and staying logged almost 24/7.

I used to post and read a lot more.  My initial goal for coming to Civil Air Portal and CAPTALK was to learn about CAP from the CAP populace; as time went on...one command later, I needed it less and less for that purpose and soon used it as CAP Social Networking.

Work and Domestic life also cut down, now, I'm about ready to drop out of the leader board!

My next question will be what happens when you get to years?

none of the boards I run has anybody past 364 days yet, but I checked on another board for fun... one guy on the support board for the forum software is showing "Total Time Spent Online:498 days, 17 hours and 31 minutes."    So... it doesn't switch to counting years, just days.

Not likely. It is a non-trivial solution. The sequence of days has gaps, so leap year determination is difficult, if not impossible. Counting days works just fine.

b. CAPTalk Service Ribbon. Awarded at the end of 50 days online (as a cadet or senior member in good standing).
(1) First Red Hourglass. Awarded at the end of 50 additional days (total of 100 days).
(2) Additional Hourglass Clasps. One additional hourglass clasp will be awarded for each additional 50 days of time. A maximum of three hourglass clasps (denoting 150 days of online time) will be worn.
(3) Longevity Device. A metal number, denoting years of online time, awarded at the end of 365 days and in increments of 1 year thereafter. The longevity device is worn centered on the CAPTalk service ribbon and the hourglass clasps are no longer worn. Members achieving 2, 3 and 4 years of service may also receive an appropriate certificate from their unit to commemorate this accomplishment.
