The Air Force had a bunch of 737's before, aka the T-43A Navigation Trainers. Some of those were repurposed when the need for Navigators went down and they didn't need as many trainers.

Currently, a handful are registered as 737-66N's, not T-43's, or C-40's.

The military has been using DV as an acronym for over 50 years for O-6 and above. Also for E-9 and high level civilians

O-6's and GS-15's, yes.

E-9's are not DV ranked besides getting a suite in lodging and a nice parking place.

Depends on the E-9

"In accordance with the Department of Defense (DoD) Order of Precedence, the CMSAF position is coded DV Code 4 and AF 3-star precedence."
