Title: ICUT in a Classroom Setting
Post by: Capmonkey on June 10, 2019, 02:26:07 AM
Hey, guys!
I had a quick question about teaching ICUT in a classroom setting. Is it possible to input CAPID's for the students taught to ensure they get credit? I've done as much research as I can, and hit a dead end. Thanks for any help!

Yes, however bear in mind that the intention is to watch the videos and let them
instruct, not someone locally.  This is intended for standardization.

Your Communications officer has access to the materials and the ability to enter test and evaluation completions.

I completely agree, sir. I'm Cadet Communications Officer for my Sq. and have done something similar to this in the past. I'll play the videos and let them instruct, but didn't know about how to do the tests this way! My Communications Officer is about to move, so I can ask my Sq. How would you go about putting the scores in the system?

I've only been able to enter them manually - you may need eServices permissions to do that, not sure for Cadets

That would make sense! Thank you!

You need to be an approved SET for ICUT to be able to enter completion.

Cadets can be ICUT SETs if the wing approves, but not a Commo of record.

^^ I'm an ICUT SET, and have signed off. I didn't think I would be able to put the classroom stuff in Eservices though! Thank you!

Tons of fun....blech  :-\

How often would you do it, though? As new members come in, you have to put them through the wringer again.
