Anything on your minds- other than the distasteful activity in Atlanta?  It sure is hot here in OK, almost 100 degrees. . . .

So what is an encampment like? I've been involved in BSA for a while, anything like scout camp, or is it more like boot camp, or half way between?

Either way, if it involves mountains, forests, campfires and tents, I'm all over it.

I was born in 1976, and graduated from High School in 1994. I graduated from the University in 1999 and have been teaching 9 years.

Being from where I am from and from which family, I sort of lived in three Generations at once.  I love them all.

Graduated from high school (Suffern, NY) in 1976, Born in 58. Graduated with Associates degree (Amarillo College) in 82, Bachelors in 86 (Texas Tech) and commercial pilot from Spartan School of Aeronautics in 91. So I guess I'm in the middle of the pack of you guys.

And speaking of music, I'm getting more into classic rock these days, (Classic Albums on VH1 Classic is great, I've got Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon and Meat Loaf Bat out of **** >:D in my CD player now.

Drop it or DO something about it. STOP talking about it. Period.

None that I can repeat here.

Oh well, the New Republic was weak by its own partisanship, as well as polarization over the Jedis' Situation.

Kentucky has one on the books that allows a man to beat his wife with a stick as long as the stick is no larger in diameter than the man's thumb and no longer in length than from the tip of his middle finger to his elbow.

doc wonders to himself: do they have one like Arkansas where if a man & wife get a divorce that they are still considered brother & sister. hmmmm....

Gawd, I miss the olden days whenever the Cornsuckers made it an annual pilgrimage to Norman (and vice versa) to finish off the college football season! None of this Big XII Chumpeenship! At least I have respect for 'the other Big Red' in football... but my Sooners right or wrong!  ;D (As long as they don't get caught flouting the NCAA rules!)

And besides... aren't you deep in enemy territiry, Aaron?  ;D (Don't feel bad, I'm operating deep behind enemy lines subverting the Shorthorns every chance I get!  ;D)
