Title: "DLO" in the Mentoring Module of CLC
Post by: Eclipse on July 11, 2010, 04:07:56 PM
The Lesson Plan for the CLC module on Mentoring, Session 3.7, uses the abbreviation "DLO" and no one here can figure out what its supposed to mean.

Other "interesting" abbreviations that we did figure out (we think):

LOQ - Lead-Off question.

FUQ: Follow-up Question.

Any ideas?

Just in reading the context, the only thing I can think of that would make any sense would be "Defined Learning Objective."

The DLO's seem to be learning objectives, I just can't imagine what else the "D" could be.

I'm having a hard enough time not making a comment about "FUQ," to be honest.

In military-speak, it's "Desired Learning Objective".

Ahh..."Desired" that makes perfect sense.
