Hawk Mountain Ranger Tabs?

Hey everybody!


This is my first post on CAPTalk and I wanted to ask a question or two about HMRS. I was browsing the Hawk Mountain info page when I noticed that the page said that, at the end of the course, testing is held and that people eligible for ranger grade are awarded their tabs. Can somebody clarify or elaborate on what this means?
