Greetings & Salutations! Went to the California Air National Guard in Van Nuys, California to an event where people dressed in World War Two uniforms, men and women, a couple wore the early Civil Air Patrol uniforms with red epaulettes, otherwise they looked something like  the U.S. Army Air Force. Would have liked to have seen the later uniforms that were worn, like those with the "Coca Cola" patch over the right breast pocket! Has anyone any scans they'd like to share showing older C.A.P. uniforms? Thanks, folks!  :)

CAP's flickr page has a bunch of photos:

Is there a person that is responsible for these albums?  Because of a post I made earlier in the year (see link below), I have a photograph that would make a good addition to this collection.

Here's the link if you want to see some vintage World War II CAP uniforms.

Click on the photo gallery bomb on the right hand side of the page, then click on the home front button, scroll all the way down until you see the "CLICK HERE TO SEE THE GALLERIES FROM PAST SHOWS" link, the scroll part way down and you'll see some vintage CAP uniforms.

Anyone notice nobody wants to wear those 1550s uniforms from the 1970s? The one without epaulets :)

Or the WOOL blues pants from that combo?

I am centering my uniform displays on the late 60s, early 70s uniforms, when 1550 shirts and 84/1084 pants and service coats were worn, alongside the khaki 505s. Using Col Morse's uniform encyclopedias, I've narrowed down my uniforms to pretty much 1970 exactly (Khakis, Blues, OD fatigues, black and white mess dress, full ribbon racks). In 71,  CAP reduced the number of ribbons.
