Wyoming Wing makes a find and gets alerted for another mising airplane search, possibly while their search planes were still in the air from the first one.  Thats got to be rare.

The WI Wing evaluated SAR last June had a actual ELT reported by a inbound plane monitoring 121.5. They were given instructions to divert and and locate, which they located to a private grass strip. We assigned a separate IC that happened to be at the mission base for the SAReval to run that locate and silence so our SAR IC could concentrate on AF inputs.
