Got about 20 friends at our house. Stocked garage fridge with beverages, fruits, veggies, finger food and pizza. Young folks are easy to please.

16 and the BBQ's humming - my neighbor is cooking out as well.

Three big round steaks "Cook 'em all and let the diners sort it out!"
This is the last of the steer from our LRADO who is selling his farm ((*sniff*)).

They were really tasty...

Happy New Year!

Nice. I go with lobsters for New Year's.

Nice steaks.

I was dreaming to have "pernil" or roast pig with rice and pigeon peas at a diner in Brooklyn. However found out my car's inspection sticker was expired... Too late for him to do inspection that day. That and wanting a new battery meant the car has to spend a New Years Day locked in the mechanic's garage. So I had to settle for a local dinner three blocks from home... Yellow Rice and Garlic Shrimp (4 medium ones), and a chocolate shake...

I would rather be ashes than dust! I would rather that my spark should burn out in a brilliant blaze than it should be stifled by dry-rot.  I would rather be a superb meteor, every atom of me in magnificent glow, than a sleepy and permanent planet.  The function of man is to live, not to exist.  I shall not waste my days trying to prolong them.  I shall use my time.
