Title: WWII CAP recruiting poster spotted in Russian documentary?
Post by: Cadet Dan on July 09, 2012, 01:55:54 AM
I recently found this Russian documentary, detailing the country's pursuit for stealth technology and it's struggle to combat it. While watching the introduction to the rock'n roll loving, capitalist, american cowboys, I noticed what might be a WWII CAP recruiting poster at 7:03-7:05. It's different from the poster I've usually seen in a few ways, but the quality of the video makes it hard to tell if there are CAP logos on the aircraft. If not CAP, could it be Army Air Corps, or something else? Link to the video-  Russian Stealth: The Hunt for the Invisible (Complete - English Subtitles) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aJ98lBR9tgY#)

That's definitely the "Home Skies" poster (as seen recently in Captain America), but with different verbiage on the bottom.

Now that's a nice recruiting poster!  (I mean in terms of size)!
