Some highlights on issues discussed on CAPTalk:

The new CAP Officer Basic Course (replacement for ECI-13) should be available by Dec. 31.

The national DDR program had an extremely un-impressive blurb about how they stand ready to support unit and outreach activities.  No accmomplishments? 

The K-6 program (ACE) is scheduled to go nationwide for the 2009-10 school year.  With the "test" program having 7,000 participants, it seems like this might be on its way to being a MAJOR program.   

Volunteer going quarterly in 2010.  There will be a daily online version "VolunteerNow"

Doing refurbs on 6 172s and buying 19 182s.  Getting 38 new vehicles. 

For you Marketing types who complain about national, they're looking for a new volunteer Marketing Advisor. 

Working on cadet "CFI" issue. 

Work on major revision to 39-1 continuing (No expected completion date given - big surprise).  Might establish a "uniform" column in the new online newsletter.
