Stand by... She's coming!

Hopefully she looks less like a man this time around!   >:D

Raven haired, perhaps.  Beauty, though, is in the eyes of the beholder I suppose.

Well, you know what they say... drink till she's cute!   >:D

If you look at the bottom-left panel, Maj Carrales looks like FDR and the National Vice Commander looks like Ronald Reagan.

If you look really close, the National Vice Commander is wearing Solo wings!!!  ;D

Ha ha ha...

I've got another reason to laugh... he's wearing solo wings and CAP pilot wings.  Aren't you supposed to wear only one?  (Of course, he is the National Vice Commander).

But seriously, that's a cool cartoon, sir.  Wish I had those kind of skills.

Cant' wait to see what happens to Smilin' Kach next!!!

No no no... Its a set of solo wings and OBSERVER wings.

Well, I'm gonna try to put up two panels a week.  Also, as a treat, "SMILIN' KACH" is now being written by Smilin' Kach himself.  I take liberties with the artwork and adjust the script a bit to fit the artwork...but 97% of this will be John KACH himself!!!

Next installment will come out SUNDAY or Saturday!!!

Another bow to the internet, Jimmy.  About a year ago someone suggested modified solo badges for "Scanner."

We can leave that open for specualtion...but as the intent goes.  These could be "Mission Scanner" Wings or "CAP Officer's Solo Wings."  I would go with the first one before the other.

The "USE CIVIL AIR PATROL" is a blatant commentary on "Corporate Missions," the "Five Bladed Prop" is the "Civil Flight Club" moniker.  The Other "WINGS" are "AUX on, Aux off" inspired.

Dang! It would appear that there's as much message 'in the margins' and 'between the lines' as there is in the actual strip!  Be careful, you're gettin' positively cerebral!!  You're gonna make my head hurt! ;D

"Old Time" comic look?

Do you mean that comics now look different?

I haven't read comics in a while, like 40 or so years.

I mean... other than THIS one!

Modern day comicbooks are now made from cover to cover of the cover.  Rememeber how comicbooks were a high gloss cover with newsprint as the body.  Now comics are totally high gloss.

I object to the title of this thread. Nobody, but NOBODY on this board has ever seen Kach smile. I mean, he's a commandre, and everyone knows commanders frown, fearing the next Wing inspection team.
