A recent mission had this beginning:

Took off before dawn and grabbed this snapshot at 7000 feet, as the sun was coming up. Headed to another state in a CAP 172 to go help train Army ATC folks. About 2 hours to get there, so lots of time to enjoy the view and count the many blessings CAP has bestowed upon me in the short 3 1/2 years since I've joined. From missions like this one, to the one in Syracuse, to disaster photography, Cadet O'Rides and so much more. Its been a wonderful experience. Getting my IFR using a CAP G1000 plane, and now working on Commercial. I have been blessed.

It was a full day of approaches, and as we were leaving more than one of the Army folks jumped on the radio with truly heartfelt thanks for the practice that CAP gives them.  Its not often that we get to hear that from customers on a personal level.

Thanks CAP for these opportunities! :)
