Hello, I am interested in starting a color guard at my squadron I have loved doing honor guard since I competed in it and now I would like to help create a team. I have the senior members on board but is there any advice on how to do it, because our squadron is cadet lead so I need to be able to present them with a full game plan. Any tips on how to set up the honor guard, best fundraiser, and anything else that might help? And I'm not asking constructive criticism here I am just asking for tips and nothing else. Thanks:)

Here's a couple of good starting points from previous inquiries. If anything else comes up that isn't answered, feel free to ask here.

Do you have the cadets on board yet?

I have some of them on board but I haven't had the chance to talk to all of them yet my next meeting is on Monday

Since you are just starting, I would recommend sticking with five or six dedicated cadets for your color guard. If you get to many at once, training standards may drop.

The posts that HGJunkie cited will tell you more than I can.

Good luck.
