The Okinawa Squadron Winter Encampment is on! We will be housed at the Erwin PME Center on Kadena AB once again. Programming will include standard required elements as well as flight sims, rocketry lab, selected elements of SERE training, and much more.

Dates are: Monday, 26 December 2011 through Sunday, 01 January 2012. Registration deadline at this time is 15 December. Please go to our Twitter account for more information.

This is a great opportunity to see the Far East and interact with one of the overseas squadrons. If anyone is interested send me a message and I can coordinate with you directly. For Japan no visa is needed and we will handle all of the on-island arrangements for you once you arrive. Only $140 for the basic encampment fee and whatever extra you want to bring for gifts or souvenirs. We will have tours for any cadets coming from CONUS, so you can see more of Okinawa than just Kadena AB.

Space-A has been mostly a dream since all the crap in the Gulf has been going on. Travel on gov't a/c by CAP members must be prearranged through the State Director and the AF. You can't just show up and sign up.
