Anyone have tips on how to study for C/SSgt comprehensive exam?
Too lazy to think of a good signature....

If you passed the first three tests, the knowledge should already be there.

Reread the first three chapters and take notes or make flashcards. A lot of cadets like to highlight, but they usually do it wrong (i.e. highlighting entire paragraphs) and don't get anything out of it other than a colorful book.

They way I studied with the L2K books:

Read Chapter
Read/Highlight Keywords
Read Highlights and make notes on the highlights
Read notes/highlights right before meeting.

As soon as I started doing that, I never failed a single test. (They were all closed book as well.)

That would be a prime example of 'doing it right'.

:) Good job!  Now that you've got some tricks up your sleeve.. the next comprehensive shouldn't be that much of a problem either.. and the next..  Though I do seem to experience that the Wright Brothers test is troublesome for a great many cadets,  I think it's because it's the first comprehensive test they hit, in the CAP curriculum and once they figure it out .. the rest are not so much of a problem.

WIWAC ( :P ),

The first award test I hit was the Mitchell. 100 questions, 50 AE/50 from the L2K book.

8 minutes and 42 seconds later, I was done and passed.

That same day I had wrapped up my Armstrong achievement, helped a cadet (who joined before me), finally knock out and pass the Wright Brothers, and mentored two Curry takers. Quite a night that was. The last meeting at my first squadron before transferring to PWK.

You took the Mitchell Exam before you had finished the Armstrong Achievement?

I would hope that Armstrong came earlier in the night. I have promoted a cadet and turned around and gave them their next test that night. I made sure eServices took it first though.
