You know your a CAP cadet when you couldn't be caught dead without your CAPID :)
Also, you know your a CAP cadet when you see a red, white and blue Cessna and have flashbacks of your O-flight experiences.

FTFY ;) Yes I am guilty of that one.

you march EVERYWHERE you go walmart, mall, wherever

you speak to all your cap friends by their last name

you wake up at the crack of dawn like at encampment everyday

when you run for fun on a treadmill you call jodies

you call every adult outside of your family sir or ma'am

when adults talk to you outside of cap you stand at ease

Its got so bad that my friends will purposely get out of step when I get in step with them.

and then i get right back in step. This was bad with me, not because of CAP, but it started in the summer with Marching band. my friends would get out of step on purpose to try to trip me up, and it frustrated them that it never worked. it was an unconscious thing for me.

Good leaders are an endangered species.
When arguing with a fool, make sure he isn't doing the same thing.
Just because you have always been doing it that way doesn't mean it isn't incredibly stupid....

You Fall automatically into step with the person you walk beside....
Can be scary sometimes... walking in the mall, for instance. Up here we have the USCGA and the AVCRAD  8), so they go to the mall in dress, and i fing myself in step with them. sometimes, large numbers of said cadets and others are in step... kind of freaky....

Skydude61

or even better, when you honestly can't remember anyone's first name... at all

You know your a CAP cadet if your wall is made to hold your uniforms :)

guilty haha even my mini basketball hoop convienetly holds my blues shirt
:D

so convenient, isn't it?

Dad2-4

Don't you have a closet?  ???
I've had uniforms of one sort or another for 33 years now (BSA, MCJROTC, USAF, LEO, CAP) but never felt the desire to decorate my room with them other than the chair in the corner catching them. I don't get it.

HGjunkie

I keep a second closet full of just Blues shirts/trousers, my Service Coat, all my BDUs, and my Civvie dress clothes.

You know you're a Cadet when you refer to everyday wear as "Civvies."  :P

I won't forget the uniform of the day, it matches my decorations of military things, it looks cool, and I can leave my uniforms that are not going to be used in the closet. I love it.

1) Your contacts (phone or otherwise) are last-name only.
2) You call CAP at-home activities "homework"
3) You have the sudden urge to salute or stand at attention
4) You use the word "sir" or "ma'am" more often than before.
5) You play Pokemon with SQTR's

I'm interested in how this works.

You know.. you've been influenced by CAP cadets when ... you square your corners ... in your house, and perhaps most places you go.

...and yes, I'm equally as guilty on the WMIRS CAP flight bit, too. ;)

thatonekid

you know your family is in CAP when: Your sister is "Cadet" or "Aiirman" and you parents are "Sir" and "M'am."
