Title: Weather radar taken out.

National Weather Service lost their Reno, NV NexRad.

The CAP site is just to the right of the two side by side black microwave antennas,
visable on the far tower on page 3, behind the NWS building. It still is working!

What was the associated weather event?  Random gust or some storm system?

Looks like its time for the Trained Weather Spotters to kick into gear

Heh - I think NWS "spotted" that one all on their own.    ;D
