Title: Un-sewing nametapes ABU?
Post by: jfkspotting on October 01, 2017, 03:03:05 AM
Has anyone unsewn ABU nametapes before? Mine are centered, but maybe 3-4mm too short on either side.

Buy a seam ripper from a place like Jo-Ann fabric or the craft/fabric/sewing area at Wal-Mart. Depending on how long the tapes have been on and how often they've been pressed, they may not be able to be made longer without having a very visible crease in them.

Seam ripper seems to be the best, but take your time. I've ripped a few holes in uniforms by doing it too fast.
