Checking Amazon they have Fleece jackets for $16.50, has anybody purchased one? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LZY79R6/_encoding=UTF8?coliid=I2FDCG64FDGYBU&colid=1MCJYUHA1OVKO
The only size that's "$16.50" is "medium".
Little fellers, and also normal-sized people, will pay significantly more, especially people
who need a boost up to the keyboard to place their order.
Not a bad deal since AAFES charges $64 for this.
Since these are from a 3rd party seller, a surplus outlet, they might be seconds, especially since there seems to be so many more M size items. Caveat emptor.
Then there's this "Vintage" clothing from American Outfitters.

I ordered the VG Fleece and it's going right back, not only is the "fleece" oddly fluffy
in a way that's hard to characterize, they don't run in tall sizes, so it's too short, not to mention
too snug with a field uniform shirt on underneath.
I got one of these from Amazon:

Only $22 shipped, good quality and fits like it should - wife said "that one looks better".
I'll have to put the Velcro® on it myself, but that's no biggie. (I have to make a grade puck
regardless). 1/2 the price of the Rothco from VG.
These Columbias would be a good choice as well - just put the Velcro® over the logo.

This one is pretty sweet as well, but alas, the Asian sizes and no tall mean "no tactical for you!"

I noticed the other day the Navy wears the Type 1 with a rank tab attached.

Vanguard even sells the conversion kit for it. https://www.vanguardmil.com/products/usn-black-fleece-conversion-tab
But I guess that would be too easy for CAP to use, despite the fact that it says "CAP" on the grade slide.

I bought https://www.galls.com/tru-spec-polar-fleece-jacket and love it. No shedding. Well-fitting. Warm as can be.
