Title: 101 card updated
Post by: Private Investigator on January 15, 2013, 06:40:38 AM
When I do a mission should my 101 card show a new expiration date for the speciality involved. i.e., if I just did a mission should the expiration change to 1/15 or 1/16?

No. The only way to update the expiration date is to submit a renewal. Simply updating tasks has no effect on the expiry.

Correct, and the bar is "evaluation" not "participation".  You have to be eval'ed by an SET, including some of the advanced tasks.

You can do 20 missions a year, but if you aren't evaled,  no renewal.

That's right, but the evaluator has to meet the requirements in CAPR60-3 (complete SET, current and qualified, one year in the appropriate ops qual) and be designated as such by the commander. NHQ is coming up with a new system where all of this will happen in eServices now and only authorized evaluators will be able to signed off tasks in Ops Quals.
