Title: JFA Scholarships
Post by: Violan on January 09, 2013, 01:23:19 AM
Hi,

I know Johnson Flight Academy is not an NCSA, but do I need to sort out scholarship details for JFA before I submit the NCSA application form?

Thanks!

Not sure if this will have the info you need. If you haven't checked it out yet though here is the web page for the activity.    http://jfa.ilwg.cap.gov/ (http://jfa.ilwg.cap.gov/)

I don't know if I'm reading your question correctly, but you can apply for JFA (or any NCSA) now (due 15 January).  Then the approvals will take place and then the initial slotting will take place in March.  If you can't afford to go (didn't get a scholarship, plans changed, etc.), but were selected to attend (in that march slotting), you would let the activity director know and they'll select someone else.

If you think you might receive a scholarship to help pay for the activity, then apply.  I'd hate to see someone with a scholarship, but not be able to use it.

If you are talking about specific JFA scholarship for the activity, I think you'd have to email the activity director.

Yes! That answers my question. Thank you so much!
