Just got my email from Lt Col Morris today saying he moved me from ALT to a primary.
I got in on the first round of alternate e-mails. Make sure that you get your forms in and your training done, or you won't go.
Nice to be going back after two years. ;D

You're a C/A1C and going to NBB? Don't you have to do encampment first?

read ck4's signature. He has already attended the basic Encampment necessary to attend an NCSA.

Well....now that you bring that up....your signature block kind of worries me.
You have been in CAP for at least a year....you have been to encampment and now you are going to three (four+ weeks) worth of NCSAs......and you are still and C/A1C.
Now I want you to have fun in CAP and enjoy your summer.....but......If you were in my squadron you would not be going to any NCSAs........due to failure to progress in the cadet program.
Just food for thought.

But he's not in your squadron and you don't know his situation.
His squadron commander approved the application and his wing special acts board approved it along with his wing commander.
So what's your point Pat?

Sir, I believe his point was the cadet isn't promoting, and thus isn't progressing at all in the Cadet Program.

My bad. I wish I could go. I'm applying Dec 1st. How many review boards do you have to go through?
The reason I am still a C/A1C is I play competitive golf year round(but I just quit to get more involved in cap and focus on school) and for some reason I always have a tournament on our PT night, but I make all other unit meetings and I participate actively, I am a CAC representative for my squadron for my wing(MS doesn't have groups). Also my squadrons has 15 cadets on the roster, so we are a very small squadron. So my point is like said above you don't know my situation and I went through all required steps to go to the NCSA's I was chosen to attend.

You don't know what's going on either. And yet you judge.
If his Squadron Commander is okay with his progress then he's progressing. It's not your call, it's the Squadron Commander's call.
I was trying to clarify Lordmonar's point. You asked what his point was, and I tried to clarify it for you.
That doesn't reflect my personal beliefs at all.
Not to be rude or judgmental at all...
But an A1C on wing level CAC? your squadron must be SMALL
:o
I wasn't trying to be rude in anyway just clarify my situation on why I am still am C/A1C.
10 people that come normally we have one C/ 2nd Lt and one Chief and the C/2nd Lt is vice chair and the Chief that is the reporter so thts why I am the rep.
Got the e-mail, couldn't go because the dates conflict with HGA (Which I already planned for).
Going cannot wait! So excited!
Awesome! Do you know what the pistol belt with suspenders is on the packing list?

Where would be a good place to get one?
I have one, but it has ammo clips and canteen clip on it, should I bring those along or take them off?
Also where is a good place to get the navy shorts?

Shorts are admittedly hard to find, but doing a quick internet search can get you there. Here's a good place to start though:

When my buddy & I heard that he had been hit, we almost didn't believe it.
I tell my cadets "if you're going to get hurt, at least make it look cool and have someone there to take pictures". You know, the whole "humor before safety thing". Why say anything of you could get a great action shot? :-P
(Please note, that was sarcasm. Just for the record.)
Dont get an alice pack, go for a camelback. Much much easier! Blue cargo shorts-go for a paramedic/police store....old navy. eddie bauer...or any sports/camping store...
Yeah, "navy" just refers to the shade of blue. I wore athletic blue shorts when I was there, and nobody cared back in 2004.
Admittedly, I am color-blind, so maybe they just didn't say anything out of pity.
