To the best of everyone's knowledge has anyone heard of a CAP color guard/Drill team compete in a JROTC meet.

One of our former squadron commanders slash Color Guard extraordinaire arranged with the local programs to allow the CG to participate in a meet.
The team was not considered for prizes or placement per our unit's request as it was training for Wing Comp, but that could probably be changed if the registration fee was paid.

This is about 5-6 years ago, but it did happen. And we plan to have it done again for this year's CG team, once again aimed at training for Wing.

(Even if the drill and events are not the same, the being judged, having a crowd, and under pressure all help prepare for the Big One)

Our Squadron's Color Guard competes in JROTC competitions, and it appears to really help them improve thier skills.   They were 4th place out of 25 teams for the last meet.
