Soviet Shuttle Program

I am not a big fan of "urban exploring" (sometimes aka trespassing).  But in some instances, the photos you get out of it are pretty interesting in both composition and the subject.  Many times, you get to see the places that are off limits.  These were interesting to see how the Soviet Union just left the facilities like they just clocked out at 5pm and never came back.

In a way ...given the tragedies the US space program had with the shuttles, maybe it's a good thing they didn't end up going up again...especially at the end when budgets were right and corners were cut to accommodate.

Neither.  I do not have a gawker username as I never visit the place. In fact, I did not know the web site existed until this popped up on my yahoo page. I do not read the comments usually so if I said something similar, then it would be purely coincidental.  Sorry to disappoint you
