This is a great collaborative effort in a crucial developing area!

I'm curious how they got it approved. Headquarters Air Force hasn't been approving any DJI products to operate over USAF Installations, per guidance in the FY20 NDAA prohibiting the use of tech products made by Chinese-based companies... hence why the article states that all other tests have been "off-site".

CAP didn't have to get it approved. The AF "told us" what to use. They specified the P4Ps. Also not using Apple products. Running modified DJI Go software on Android tablets.  I guess the whole idea is to test common, off the shelf hardware, some idiot might use to try and fly over a base.
