FYI CAPTALK:

From time to time many of you have engaged in forum debate with "isuhawkeye"  from the IAWG.  Yesterday "isuhawkeye" a/k/a Lt Col John Halbrook transferred to a whole different command:  He got married.  His new commanding general, Christine is very supportive of CAP activities although you might see his late night captalk postings diminish.  It was an absolutely beautiful wedding. He wore what is rumored to be the new CAP corporate mess dress uniform.  I am sure that with a little prodding he will gladly post a wedding photo.

Let's join in sending CapTalk congratulations  to Col and Mrs Halbrook.

So many wedding jokes - so inappropriate with cadets in the room  >:D

Just remember these two words and wedded life will go very well:

yes dear.

Congrats

Why Congratulate ISUHAWKEYE? Congratulations should go to General Christine for trapping the LtCol. If either was a cadet it probably would have been a violation of CPPT

the dude is on his honeymoon man.
I'm sure  he's got better things to do than spend it with the likes of us.

well he'd better have, anyway.  ;)

We were going to call him out for a 3AM SAR Sunday morning but several Generals-in-Command put a stop to it.

Ahh Yes the Change of Command is Complete.  The confirmed career bachelor is no longer....

And there is most definately a NEW Uniform in the making.....How do you all feel about plaid?

In all seriousness.

Hawkeye, the wedding was most beautiful as is your wife, nickname TBD, the reception will go down in IAWG lore.

Have fun, see you in a few months.....

There was serious conversation about the IN-ability to form a GT due to the ceremony....

Also Hawkeye said his phone was off........Darn...

"Few months"  like h*ll.  I expect him (and you) to be back on the duty roster for the October WTA . Remember his General in charge was my "little girl next door and yours is my "client"

That picture was taken prior to the wedding when the groomsmen practiced their sharp shooting to make sure the wedding went off on time.

While the wedding ceremony went well, the tragic events that ensued afterwards...

John remains in the Polk County Jail while several members of the bridal party are listed in critical condition at a local hospital.

Thats why the IAWG Plan is so successful. Out of the box kilt thinkers like this are what make us great........

BTW, I really don't wanna know what is actually under the kilt either......

A RING DI DIDDLY AYE OH...

Hey Jimmy, have you Hazed Yourself lately? >:D >:D >:D
"And Saint Attila raised the Holy Hand Grenade up on high saying, "Oh Lord, Bless us this Holy Hand Grenade, and with it smash our enemies to tiny bits. And the Lord did grin, and the people did feast upon the lambs, and stoats, and orangutans, and breakfast cereals, and lima bean-"

" Skip a bit, brother."

"And then the Lord spake, saying: "First, shalt thou take out the holy pin. Then shalt thou count to three. No more, no less. "Three" shall be the number of the counting, and the number of the counting shall be three. "Four" shalt thou not count, and neither count thou two, execpting that thou then goest on to three. Five is RIGHT OUT. Once the number three, being the third number be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade to-wards thy foe, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuffit. Amen."

Congratulations!

Was it a "CAP Wedding?"  My wife and I met in CAP.  When we finally tied the knot, we even had a CAP chaplain do the honors!

(And no, he wasn't dressed like Elvis.  ::) )
