Throughout my 20 years I have served as a Mission Chaplain on a lot of missions.  But this was the best one ever.  Our mission team received a life saving ribbon with silver star.

I cannot begin to express the euphoria felt when the family was notified of finding their loved one --- who was standing and waving at the CAP aircraft overhead.

Let's see:

   *AP
   *CUL
   *FASC
   *LO
   *LSC
   *PIO

    MRO 6/30
    MS 6/20
    MSA 7/20

    GES ∞
    ICUT ∞
    IS100 ∞
    IS200 ∞
    ICS300∞
    IS700 ∞
    IS800 ∞

    Drv's Lic (S,CV2,7,8,9,12,PT,TT<2000) 7/30

    plus  DAART User ∞
and *DAART Operator (both quals not yet available in eServices).

Nothing special, but hopefully respectable for someone who just completed his first year in CAP.  Looking forward to my first AP training sortie(s) in a couple weeks.  Three whole sorties (training/exercises) done as an MS, a half dozen exercises as an MRO or MSA, and three exercises as a DAART User (including an EvalEx).  Still waiting for my first real mission.

I was asked last month to be my Group Safety Officer.

I accepted as an Additional Duty! The third stint I do for my Group.
