Today the City of Grinell has recovered a body.   It is currently believed that this body is that of a missing grinell college student.

So?  What does this have to do with CAP?

CAP was in on the search, IIRC.

sorry for the confusion.

Last september CAP was activated along with several other SAR agencies to search for a Grinell college student who had disappeared.  (NO CAP talk thread was started in reference to this mission)

This is different from the Iowa State Search which took place this spring.

After several days of searching and thousands of man hours the subject of our Grinell search was not found.

Yesterday a body was discovered.  The state medical examiner has requested dental records, and is expected to confirm Identification today.

Several CAP members were involved in the management of this operation.  I posted the brief statement to inform them of the find.
