Front page of the Monday Tallahassee Democrat (www.tdo.com - click on "They Never Leave a Soul Behind") or go to http://www.tdo.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20070115/NEWS01/701150324/1010

For the video, go to http://www.wctv6.com/gms and click on "Civil Air Patrol Practices Search and Recover" as don't think I can link directly to the javascript videoplayer from here.

AAR to come as soon as I get some sleep.

Not sure I like how this is written...

Quote
"In a real crash, a search-and-rescue team would be the first on the scene until further help arrived. This time, it was the Civil Air Patrol of the United States Air Force Auxiliary."

Other than that, great write up. Always good to see positive press about CAP.

Exactly. I'm glad that she was there to write a good story about CAP even if she did get a few details wrong. Feature stories are hard enough to come by that I'll settle for this and ask for more :)

I know how you feel. Trying to get press to an event can seem like pulling teeth at times and then when they get facts wrong your like DOH! I think I'm going to program the phrase, "feel free to run that copy by me before press time!" into my memory. ;D
