I live about a mile from ILG. DEWG has a plane there, the 166th Airlift Wing is there, and that is where VP Biden flies in and out. I get a daily airshow in my back yard....

I used to live 2.4 miles north of Miramar, on a line perpendicular to the runway at show center. We could watch the Blue Angels do the high and crossover portions of their routine from my front yard.

I was ground radio -- we used to work on your transceivers. I was there from 94-98. One of my supervisor's neighbors was an engineer there (I think).
