Title: Part 107 holder
Post by: exarmyguard on March 13, 2019, 09:22:33 PM
Hi. I have my uas license and want to attend NESA. There is a basic and advanced uas class offered. Which class should I attend?

I would presume that the basic course would be first, and probably a prerequisite for the advance course. Are there any pre-reqs listed  for either course?

Going by what is listed on the NESA site, Part 107 is a prerequisite for the Advanced but not the Basic; nor is Basic a prerequisite for Advanced.

That being said, I asked for the Advanced course as my first preference (as a certificated remote pilot) and did not get it, so I assume it's been entirely filled already.
