Does anyone know the CAP flight requirements for flying a teacher as part of the Fly-A-Teacher program: http://members.gocivilairpatrol.com/aerospace_education/activities/fly_a_teacher.cfm?

Obviously, a CAP pilot must have a current Form 5 but do they also have to be a current CAP Cadet Orientation Pilot? I would say yes, but I'm looking for clarification with specific reference to the regs.

You probably have your answer by now but...

KB Artical: Link

QuoteThe CAP pilot qualification for participating in Teacher Orientation Program (TOP) Flights (formerly Fly a Teacher) is Cadet Orientation Pilot (COP) qualified.  The program managers are aware of this and should be seeking Cadet Orientation Pilots to fly each of the teachers.  We will be adding this requirement to our regulations/guidance.
