Title: CAP Base 14 photo
Post by: James Shaw on January 10, 2011, 05:06:42 PM
I recently found a CAP Base 14 history book. The book itself is great. One of the pictures is a CAP Aircraft with a bomb laying on the ground. The bomb on the ground looks like it has a Swastika painted on the bomb.

I gotta go with Jim on this - it's a swastika.

It looks similar to the ordnance that's been dropped elsewhere and elsewhen that shows disdain for the recipients.

And I do acknowledge that your response was likely tongue-in-cheek.  :)

Could be a swastika, which wouldn't surprise me. Or it could be some driftwood.  :D
