Title: Writing a report to publicly disclose using e-Services and WMIRS data
Post by: Holding Pattern on August 07, 2020, 05:24:37 PM
I'd like to write a report and cite data from WMIRS and e-Services data as supporting documentation.

When my report is complete, whom may I submit it to in CAP to get permission to release the report, since that data would cover all regions and the data is generally not for public disclosure on its own?

Or you could just "not".

Hi, Pattern.

Good question. Arguably since a portion of the funding expended on missions is federal, FOIA information act rules apply. Yet, WMIRS is filled throughout with personal data.

Therefore, I'd punt this question up to your Wing Legal Officer, who may then consult NHQ Legal.

That is a reasoning that has never worked on me.
