Perhaps a section for members who have passed should be established.

This is just my humble opinion, but if I had never heard of CAP Talk in life... Why would I want to be immortalized on some internet forum in death?  Let alone some section set aside specifically for such Memorial threads because I was a CAP member.

Obits are already all over the internet posted by local newspapers and funeral homes... Some even get sent via wing email lists

Is that a bad thing? Obits let people know that their friends have passed on, especially folks that have lost contact over the years.

YMMV.

a Hall of Honor for CAPs Fallen would be more appropriate with a brief biography, their contributions & a CAP portrait photo to honor them in CAP.    It would be beneficial to keep their spirit alive rather than have a morbid funeral notice.

Something NHQ should do.  Not here.
