I'm curious.  The current AF logo of the blue bird thing is a fairly new symbol.  It's part of the commander's badge.  I was wondering if anyone knows what it looked like prior to the AF adopting that symbol.  Does anyone have a picture of it?

The current badge is the one and only CAP has had.

It was created after the modern Hap Arnold wings were adopted by the USAF as their logo, and
has been in violation of 900-2 since December 2012.

"The revised CAPR 900-2 includes the use of the Civil Air Patrol logo and Civil Air Patrol command emblem (Section A).
Removes general information on the Air Force "Hap Arnold" symbol and rescinds the use of the Air Force "Hap Arnold"
symbol cradled with CAP organizational emblems."
