Was the DEW Line a Air Force operated system? Or was this system operated by the Army as part of the missile defense system?

The Air Force ran the Texas Towers (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Texas_Towers) that were part of the Atlantic Barrier, which was an extension of the DEW Line. TT-4 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Texas_Tower_4) collapsed, 28 airman and civilians died, and it is now a dive site.
BarPac and BarLant were Navy missions. My father flew BarPac EC-121's out of Barber's Point.
