RC Gliders reach 392 mph

It's simply amazing that an unpowered remote control glider can reach these speeds by exploiting wind currents around hills and mountains.

It'd be cooler if they did something besides go in a circle really really fast.

Yes, hotliners (that's what they are called) can go very fast.  I have a friend who does this kind of stuff; and those things are not only fast, but expensive.
