Title: Rhode Island Wing Encampment

TO ALL:

The RI Wing will be holding its anual basic encampment from 12 Apr 2009 to 18 Apr 2009. We will be looking for cadet staff for the encampment, as well as basic applicants. More information will be released here at a later date. You can also go to our website, www.encampment.webs.com.

thats a really really early encampment. dont most cadets still have school?

It's done on spring break, for the RI schools.

It is generally the first encampment of the year. In the past we've seen lots of out of state C/CMSgt and C/SMSgt cadets who want their Mitchell before summer and others who want to attend NCSAs that summer. The year I commanded, we had a CAWG cadet.

My school's break (in CT) falls on the same week, so I'm really happy about that. I'm going because I heard really great things about RIWG encampment, also I want to do NCSA's.

A few years back, a friend of mine from NEWG took a week off of school to go there. He went to NFA that summer too.
