A friend and colleague of mine, Pat Creed, co-authored a book that's about to come out regarding the response at the Pentagon on 9/11/01. I had opportunity to read the manuscript and just finished reading the finished work. "Firefight - Inside the Battle to Save the Pentagon on 9/11" is its title and Random House is the publisher. This book is really good stuff, IMHO, and well worth the read.

This book looks amazing. Any idea as to when it'll hit the stores, or if it's there now?

It's on preorder at Amazon and Borders; I think it officially hits the bookstores on 27 May.
