At Sparky's request, it is my pleasure to announce, on behalf of Major & Mrs. Joe Ely Carrales, the birth of their second child, Mia Renae Carrales, at 1152 CST on 2 Jan 2008.

She weighed 7.1 lbs and measured 21 inches long.

Mother and daughter are both fine! (Father is, justifiably, bursting with joy!)

Major Carrales

Thank you, fatherhood is the greatest JOY a man can experience.  Mom and baby are doing well.  Big Sister Micaela Rae is having a great time taking care of her sister, that child is 4.

Also, I want to thank ZIGZAG for breaking the news to the forum for me.

Congratulations.  Just think 12 more years and we can add another Carrales to the "rolls".  Enjoy the next few months, they are the best!

Seriously, you come to us about a new baby, and you don't have pics to share? That's just wrong. ;D

Now this is totally unsubstantiated, but I'm guessing that Joe is just a bit busy right now.  Not sure what gave me that idea, though.   ;)

If he was spending much time on CAPTalk, I'd wonder.   :D
