Greetings.

Matters elsewhere have kept me occupied for several years. Those matters have concluded.

Long story short: I'm looking for current best practices for packs and LBE or the equivalent. This isn't a troll - I need to replace some stolen gear and start building out a second set of gear. I'm good on pack lists, heaven knows.

Anyhow, thanks in advance.

If it holds your gear and is comfortable, it works. What's wrong with a pistol belt, y harness, butt pack, 2 canteens and a few ammo pouches?

For packs, I'm currently using a 5.11 Rush 12 for my 24 hour kit, and a Rush 72 for the 72 hour bag, and they attach together for easier carry. If you are used to the old school LBE though, those can be had cheap and there's nothing wrong with them.
