Wing Safety Officer Question

Is the Wing Safety Officer a solitary position - i.e. you can hold only that position and nothing else, such as squadron or group commander?

There's nothing saying that is has to be the primary, as it can be an ADY position. However, keep in mind any time constraints of being in other positions.

Also, there's nothing that prevents a CC from taking on other ADY positions (I myself am a Group/CC and Wing/DP-DA.)

As far as I am aware, IG is one of those but SE is not.

Probably a question for whoever is hiring you to be the Wing Safety Officer.
They may want you to be the Safety Officer fulltime.
