Cadet programs other than CAP?

I think I was unclear on my previous post. Does anyone know of a cadet program other than CAP that allows undocumented immigrants?
USNSCC does not allow it, and Young Marines requires a Marine CC.

I don't think you will find any. JROTC classes at most, because the courts have opened public schools to them.

Since cadet ("officer in training") programs are aimed at youth who may be inclined to serve their community state and nation, I think you'd be hard pressed to find reputable cadet programs which cater to illegals and their law breaking parents. Particularly since government sponsored and government/military themed programs are instituted to train youth to be law abiding citizens.

Which illegals are not in either respect, by definition.

You may find a school district here and there which will let illegal alien kids participate in high school JROTC (which are classes) because the courts for some reason have let them into public schools. Yet, their participation in the classes will be frustrating, I'd wager. Non US citizens can still join the military, AFAIK, by first being a legal resident with a permanent resident card (aka green card). So that avenue is closed off - along with commissioning programs - for illegals.

I know here in California we've had more then a few cadets that while they were citizens because they happened to be born here, their parents and maybe some siblings are undocumented. And we're not just talking about Hispanics either.
And I'm pretty confident we're not the only state where that happens too.

Correct re enlistment; two of my children did that.  When our son joined the USMC he was by no means the only one in his company, both at Parris Island and in the Fleet.  At his citizenship ceremony, 90 personnel were admitted, from 31 different countries.  Many had double digit years of service, and one was a MSgt (IIRC).  None of the ones we spoke to had ever joined to get citizenship.

Great story - thanks.

I met my favorite guy aboard USS Stennis, a non citizen Sailor, early one morning after midrats. We came down a passageway and, being very tired, we stepped on his freshly polished deck by accident. I heard his angry "Gagos... ^*&%$" and realized that he was Filipino. So, I turned, said "Well magandang umaga (good morning) to you too... sorry about the deck, we'll be more careful". He lit up grinning, bit off a "sorry Sir", and ended up being a great shipmate. Bunch of pilots and engineers walking sideways down the bulkhead trying to not mess up his "buff job"...

He was a Sailor who did a job right, followed the rules, and expected others to as well. We need citizens like that in every country and I hope he became one of ours.

PS, to any Filipino readers I apologize if I've got my spelling wrong.

Spam,

My wife is Filipina, there's nothing like getting cussed out in Tagalog at light speed.

Trust me I know.  ;)
