Been lurking for a good while.. never posted...

But, I'm here now.   ;D

I decided to be active here at CAP Talk now that I'm an NCO and I've taken some responsibility in my squadron, and perhaps I can learn something from you all!

I have been lurking CAPTalk for some time now, and it seems if you were to sum it up in two words it would be Uniforms and Spelling.

It is not, in the strictest sense, a demotion. You've simply been relieved from a position.

What's wrong with what I said?

First sergeant is not a rank, therefore you can't be demoted from something you were never promoted to.

Being a position, you are assigned and relieved.

Simple.
