Information regarding the Cadet Staff the application process is now available at the 2005 Ohio Wing Encampment website, http://www.ohwg.cap.gov/encampment.htm. It is under the News/FAQ section.

Please note the deadlines that are posted there. We are currently only accepting applications for the positions of Squadron Commander, Squadron Deputy Commander, and Section Chiefs. We will begin accepting applications for all other Cadet Staff positions on 01 March.

Also note that the deadline for Squadron Staff and Section Chief applications is 23 February. That's this Wednesday.

Just a quick update, the deadline for Squadron Staff and Section Chief applications has been pushed back to 02 March. Selection announcements will be made on 08 March. Aside from the date changes, the application process is exactly the same as what is posted at the Encampment website.

The timeline for staff selections now looks like this:

01 Febuary 2005 - 02 March 2005 - Squadron Commander, Squadron Deputy Commander, and Section Chief Applications are accepted.

01 March 2005 - 23 March 2005 - Flight Commander, Flight Sergeant, and Group Staff applicatons are accepted.

08 March 2005 - Selectees for Squadron Commander, Squadron Deputy Commander, and Section Chief are notified.

01 Apr 2005 - Selectees for Flight Commander, Flight Sergeant, and Group Staff are notified.

The application process and requirements are the same as were laid out before - electronic CAPF31, activity history, and essay. For more details, scroll down to the previous posts regarding staff applications.

To emphasize - We are not accepting applications for Flight Staff at this time. Applications sent early will be sent back and instructed to resubmit at the appropriate time.
