"And Saint Attila raised the Holy Hand Grenade up on high saying, "Oh Lord, Bless us this Holy Hand Grenade, and with it smash our enemies to tiny bits. And the Lord did grin, and the people did feast upon the lambs, and stoats, and orangutans, and breakfast cereals, and lima bean-"

" Skip a bit, brother."

"And then the Lord spake, saying: "First, shalt thou take out the holy pin. Then shalt thou count to three. No more, no less. "Three" shall be the number of the counting, and the number of the counting shall be three. "Four" shalt thou not count, and neither count thou two, execpting that thou then goest on to three. Five is RIGHT OUT. Once the number three, being the third number be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade to-wards thy foe, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuffit. Amen."

From what I remember:

Juan Gonzalaz (Gave me his baseball bat after a game)

Michael Collins (Lives on Marco Island (my previous home) down the street from my 7th grade math teacher.  He came in and talked to us one time)

Charlie Weis's Wife (Said hi to us while walking on the street.  They live less than a minuet away from my new home)

While working at a Radio Shack store, a young man walked in and asked me to support his dad in the upcoming election. He said his father was Gerald Ford and I responded with some thoughtless remark. He shook my hand, smiled and left to visit the next store. I was surprised to see him on the local news that night! oops

I almost shook hands with Robert Kennedy (3 people away) while he was campaigning.

But the best was a older lady (WWll WAC ferry pilot) at an NFA who had flown with Amelia Earhart. Her comment to me was that Amelia was not a very good pilot.

I've met a few celebrities and spoken with them:
Louise Mandrell
Chely Wright
the ladies of Cowboy Crush

I was also about five feet away from Hillary Clinton one day, but we never interacted.

Since this post I got to meet country singer Sara Evans.  It wasn't much, just a quick Hi and take a picture, but I did get to put my arm around her. ;D

I hate you^^  She is my dream girl!

I've only met 3 famous people, thus far and oddly enough got to spend a significant amount of time with each of  them.

I met Gen. Colin Powell WIWAC, and we got to eat dinner with him in a group of about 20 cadets.

When we went to Sea World with my brother care of Make a Wish, we got a VIP tour that happened to be the same tour Pat Sajak and his family were on.  Spent almost the entire day with them (very nice people)

And finally, in a laundromat in Northern Wisconsin I spoke for about an hour with a bearded gentlemen with a familiar way about him.  Turns out it was Robin Williams but whether I was blind or just not observant I didn't recognize him till he introduced himself just before he left.  (maybe the beard was meant to disguise him too)

Astronauts Steve Nagel (presented colors for him) and Scott Altman (fueled his T-38, and talked for a few when I worked as a lineman)

The one's below were handshakes and move on's
