Good cooperation yesterday between 4 aircraft all converging on the SAR yesterday.  2 CAP aircraft, a CHP C206 and a Sheriff 206.  Everyone sounded professional and willing to work with each other.  I got into the area about 1 1/2 hrs before the CAP aircraft arrived and started an area search.  When the CAP planes got on scene and established in their grids, I went down low and bugged out of the area through a valley.  Honestly, once CAP had two planes in the area, I felt it was their show.
I was able to respond immediately because I sit at the airport full time with an airplane fueled, preflighted and ready to go.  So when I got word I gathered info and was out the door.  The fact that two CAP crews were alerted, launched and traveled about 70 miles to the search grid and relieved me in less than two hours was outstanding.
